Improving cafetaria spaces

The McGill cafeterias should be redesigned to encourage ownership and participation. They should become gathering spaces. Instead of tables and chairs being bolted into the ground, they could be arranged so that people feel like they can eat and discuss together. Paper recycling bin at every U-Print device

I have noticed that people using the uPrint devices print things that they don't want and leave the paper on the machine or lying around. Also, I noticed that many of the uPrint devices are located in hallways and other spaces which don't have a paper recycling bin close by. Admin Paper waste - going paper less

Consumption of paper by administration is discouraging. Everybody keep track of every transaction, conversation, decision by printing on a piece of paper, often time single side. I know everybody is backing oneself in case of audit but still. For example, I just received a PO cancellation documentation: 21 single side pages of email conversation...
