McGill should have a place where each Department or Unit can post items or furniture or materials and supplies they no longer need or use, all or some of these items might be of use or value to another Department or Unit. If there is a justification, a fair market value cost could also be changed to the Department taking the goods crediting the Fund of the selling Unit. Sustainability Vision and Action Plan

Co-op system for students

Students could leave McGill with work experience in their field, money to repay any debts, professional contacts, and the ability to apply the knowledge gained from an academic setting in the real world! Also, this would allow businesses and community groups the opportunity to discuss and coordinate internships with McGill and encourage more students to learn French!

Integrated Gardening Committee

Around campus there are several initiatives concerning gardening and beautification including but not limited to Edible Campus and Campus Crops. I propose a committee/ council in direct communication with the admin concerning use of space be crated to focus and streamline gardening efforts on campus.
