Research: Shape public policy on environmental and social issues and ensure that we remain at the forefront of academic investigation and public debate in these areas
Ensure our graduates have a full understanding of the environmental and social dimensions of leadership
Training and Guidance: Ensure that staff, students and visitors are able to access information on sustainable lifestyles to support their development as responsible global citizens

More use of the campuses as a living laboratory!
More inter/multi-disciplinarity in research.
Wherever there are challenges, learning opportunities lie.
For education: partnerships with Cegeps and High Schools.
More sustainability workshops.
Better communication on social and political issues.
Spread awareness on vision 2020 for people to take more initiative on sustainability
I'd love to see sustainability integrated into all facets of curriculum, more living labs on campus and more campus work opportunities to allow graduates to seek out careers in sustainability.
My colleague Dr Paul Clarke has just published a book with this very title ('Education for Sustainability'). We are working on a project (www.pop-up-farm.com) which aims to advance this agenda through education at all levels. We are looking for ideas and opportunities to spread it more in tertiary education. It's VERY hands-on, instant action, fast results, accessible to everyone. All thoughts welcome.
